Prepare the Ground Beef:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the carne asada seasoning and wood fired garlic seasoning, stirring well to combine.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the beef mixture is flavorful and cooked through.
Making the taco quesadilla:
- In a separate hot skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add a corn tortilla and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded Mexican cheese over half of the tortilla.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the cheese-covered side of the tortilla.
- Fold the tortilla over to create a taco shape.
- Cook the taco for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
Serve and Enjoy:
- Remove the tacos from the skillet and let them cool slightly on a cutting board before serving.
- Enjoy with your favorite toppings like sour cream, fresh cilantro, taco sauce, or a squeeze of lime juice!
