Crispy Carne Asada Ground Beef Taco Quesadillas

Ingredients
  

  • Corn tortillas
  • Shredded Mexican cheese
  • Ground beef
  • Carne asada seasoning
  • Wood fired garlic seasoning
  • Olive oil or avocado oil
  • Salsa or taco sauce to top optiional
  • Cilantro for garnish optional
  • Sour cream optional
  • Lime optional

Method
 

Prepare the Ground Beef:
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the carne asada seasoning and wood fired garlic seasoning, stirring well to combine.
  3. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the beef mixture is flavorful and cooked through.
Making the taco quesadilla:
  1. In a separate hot skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add a corn tortilla and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded Mexican cheese over half of the tortilla.
  3. Spoon the beef mixture onto the cheese-covered side of the tortilla.
  4. Fold the tortilla over to create a taco shape.
  5. Cook the taco for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
Serve and Enjoy:
  1. Remove the tacos from the skillet and let them cool slightly on a cutting board before serving.
  2. Enjoy with your favorite toppings like sour cream, fresh cilantro, taco sauce, or a squeeze of lime juice!
